I am interesting in PRM-DUL software license.
I have some questions as follows,
1. Can I use this product for consulting service to my customer?
2. How about licensing scheme? e.g. per database, per cpu core, per time etc.
2.1 In case of per database, how have you identified that it is database with purchasing PRM-DUL license? e.g. If the database will be needed to restore and recover (using normal standard method) to same or different machine, Is it still considered the same database?
3. If new PRM-DUL version is released, Can I upgrade for free or additional cost?
4. Does it support database recovery on Exadata machine?
1. yes, you can
2. per database, identified by DB_NAME
3. of course
4. you can copy exadata datafile from asm to filesystem, then prm can read it .
DBRECOVER Recovery Options
For Oracle incidents, start with the DBRECOVER for Oracle trial to verify table visibility, row previews, and export readiness on copied datafiles. For MySQL and InnoDB incidents, DBRECOVER for MySQL is free software and can inspect.ibd files, ibdata1, and database directories locally.
When the case is urgent, preserve the original files first, work from copies, and contact paid emergency support with the database version, platform, error messages, file list, and recovery objective.
