Before You Try Extraction
Preserve the available files first. If storage or filesystem issues caused the error, copy DBF files to stable storage before running recovery software.
- Locate the missing or inaccessible datafile path from ORA-01110.
- Check whether SYSTEM, SYSAUX, USERS, and application tablespace files exist.
- Use copies of datafiles, not live production files.
- Run the trial against the files that actually contain target tables.
